The Southern California Edison Service Centers support electrical infrastructure planning, installation, repair, and maintenance. The Menifee Service Center facility was operating at capacity while the population on the area was expanding rapidly. The expansion provided new office space, new yard space, enhanced fueling and truck storage with solar generating capacity, and improved security, access, and safety on the roadways and at the entry gates. The project involved new lay down yards and parking, as well as storm water detention facilities. Being in an existing flood plain, the construction was subject to sensitive constraints.

In addition to providing the site planning and design, the architectural and structural design of all the structures, our team processed the sanitary sewer improvement approvals through the Eastern Municipal Water District, the flood improvements through Riverside County Flood Control, the Fire Department improvements through Riverside County Fire, the Public Use Permit through Riverside County Planning, and the bonding for public roadways, landscape improvements and storm drainage improvements through the County and City. We coordinated the roadway expansion work with the County of Riverside, the City of Menifee, and CALTRANS.

We also assisted in the cooperative agreements and negotiations between SCE and Brookfield properties regarding shared roadway work along the common boundary.
