This project was conceived as a series of detached pavilions occupying an expansive property, creating a large central open space. The modern farmhouse aesthetic, designed by Ashworth Design Office references the agricultural history of the Ojai valley. PECK performed the Structural and Civil scopes for the project.

The geology on the site consisted of massive boulders, cobbles and soil washed from the mountains. A full removal, backfill, and recompaction operation was performed to provide uniform support for the buildings.

The project includes several significant fireplace volumes expressed in exposed cast in place concrete, which are individually supported on large spread footings. Site planning involved drainage via a dispersal system and a private sewage disposal system.
